As we draw closer to the extended deadline, we cannot but help ask ourselves: what is camping and why do we camp? In layman's term, it is simply a group of individuals who share a common idea getting together to fulfill that mission in an out-door environment. We camp because we love it. It helps most of us to be free of the worries of this world for a few days. We feel closer to God, as nature is another of God's text-book. We get to practice what we learn. There are camps for all kinds of things, but the one I like most is the day camp. Do you know why?  It is because someone else has to think up all the activities to keep children occupied that I cannot provide of and for myself. You fall, so what get up! try again tomorrow. You get wet! (water, water, lots of it!) You didn't quite get to the top, or ding ding ding, hurray, you made it.  Plan to be there. Its gonna be fun. I'll be there, make it a date and meet me there. Where??? Camp Berkshire!!!!

These are just a few of what's in store for you !!!! I looked and I looked, but I didn't see a donkey, maybe just maybe, there will be one next year.
